These terms apply to all apps published by CanonForge under the CanonForge Apps name (currently Seiton, Reel, and QuickShot; the “apps”). By downloading, installing or using an app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the apps.
1. License
When you make a purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. The number of devices each license can be activated on at the same time is as stated on the product page at the time of purchase. You may unlink a device at any time and activate on another.
Please do not share your license key publicly, resell it, or let several people take turns using it. We limit unusually frequent device switching and, where necessary, disable licenses that are being abused.
2. Trial
For apps that offer a trial, each device may use the app free of charge for 14 days with all features included. When the trial ends, a purchase is required to keep using the app.
3. Payment and Merchant of Record
Sales of the apps are completed by Creem acting as the Merchant of Record. Creem is responsible for processing payments, issuing receipts and invoices, calculating and remitting applicable taxes, and handling refunds. Your payment details are collected directly by Creem; we cannot see your full card number.
4. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After a refund or a chargeback, the corresponding license becomes invalid and any activated devices return to an unactivated state. See the Refund Policy for details.
5. Updates
We continue to release fixes and improvements. Whether a major version upgrade requires a separate payment will be stated clearly when it is released; the version you purchased remains usable.
6. Restrictions on use
- You may not decompile or crack the apps, or bypass license verification.
- You may not use the apps for any purpose that violates laws or regulations.
7. Disclaimer
The apps are provided “as is”. We do our best to keep them stable and reliable, but we do not guarantee that they are free of errors in every environment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the apps; our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app concerned.
8. Changes to these terms
When these terms are updated, we change the date at the top of this page; significant changes will be announced on the website or in the apps.
